State Agency Warns of Scam
The state Division of Corporations is warning new business owners to be wary of a scam. Many businesses are receiving mailings from "Compliance Services," requesting "annual minutes" and a fee of $125 for filing. Compliance Services is not connected to the Division of Corporations, and the division does not request a company's annual minutes.
